APPLICATION 3010 is designed primarily for use in light to moderate duty stamping and forming operations of aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metals, while still finding application in some light duty operations with ferrous metals. Its unique ability to provide “thin film” lubrication, then evaporate quickly leaving no residue, makes 3010 an excellent choice for applications calling for the use of a “vanishing oil”. 3010 can be applied by spraying or roller coating. 3010 should always be used as received. This results in a surface, which does not require any cleaning prior to processes such as welding or painting. Gen-Lube 3470 contains a lubricity package, which provides both boundary and extreme pressure lubrication. This results in longer die life, improved surface finishes, and permits increased production rates. This results in lowered scrap rates and increased productivity.
