General Chemical's GccFLoc3300is
a polymeric flocculent designed specifically for
metallic hydroxide precipitation enhancement. After the
wastewater pH has been adjusted in the range of 8.5 to
9.0, with lime or caustic soda. GccFLoc3300 should
be added at a concentration of 1.0 % by volume. |

After adding the GccFLoc3300, mix the
treated wastewater for 3 to 5 minutes. GccFLoc3300
will agglomerate the suspended metallic hydroxides to
yield faster settling times and produce a clearer supernatant. |

he supernatant can now be pumped off
without disturbing the sludge blanket. The remaining
sludge can be filtered and disposed of in accordance
with local, state or federal regulations. |

GccFLoc3300 works well in inclined
plate clarifiers or other clarifying equipment. |
